The studies show that Usuluddin are the main focal point, especially on heretical teachings or sects. Muslims often need to confront many threats of faith either from individuals who have a specific agendas or gains popularity through the spread of heresy. The influence of the founders of this heresy are so widespread that it threatens the faith of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamā‘ah, which is the mainstream of this country. A fatwa on heresy was gazetted accordingly, in an effort to prevent the unruly teaching from spreading. Even so, most offenses are convicted for teaching without credentials, evident by the irregularities that is difficult to detail. Without denying the efforts from the gazetting of fatwas and the study of heresy, this paper outlines the need for enforcement and standardization of sighah fatwa by referring to existing sighah fatwas of heresy. This effort is expected to be able to bind and convict the offense of heresy and no longer only be just a punishment for lack of teaching credentials, but also to the declaration of withdrawal from Islamic teachings which customarily resulting in an avoidance from prosecution. The standardization of sighah fatwa in heresy is very important to be implemented in order to preserve the faith of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah and at the same time eradicate heresy permenantly.</p> ER -
